Health, Safety and Screening

Health, Safety and Screening

How we keep your premises safe and secure

This page sets out how our cleaners are screened and trained, how their work is supervised and recorded, how keys and alarms are handled, and what changes on a site during an illness outbreak.

Our cleaners are fully trained, insured, uniformed and police-vetted.

Police-Vetted

Police vetting is part of the screening every cleaner goes through before starting

Inspected Weekly

A supervisor physically inspects each site every week against the written scope

Documented

Checklists, attendance, communication logs and inspection reports for every site

Screening before anyone starts

Every cleaner goes through contractor screening before they work on a client site. That covers:

  • Identity verification
  • Reference checks
  • Police vetting
  • A health and safety induction
  • Infection control training
  • Site-specific training for each site they work on

Where a school, early childhood centre or practice has its own contractor screening or sign-in requirements, we work to those as well.

Supervision, records and access

Weekly supervisor inspection

A supervisor physically inspects each site every week against the written scope, rather than waiting for a complaint. Most of the time a site is allocated to the same cleaner, and you deal directly with our manager.

Documented cleaning records

We keep site checklists, attendance records, communication logs and quality inspection reports. If you need them for an audit or a contractor review, tell us at the site visit and they are set up from the start.

Keys, alarms and access

Cleaners and supervisors hold the keys or access cards for the premises they clean, and supervisors train cleaners on your alarm procedure before they work on site. Tell us at the site visit who to contact out of hours.

During an illness outbreak

When there is an outbreak of illness on a site, we move to enhanced cleaning and disinfection focused on the places it spreads from:

  • High-touch surfaces such as door handles, switches, rails and shared equipment
  • Bathrooms and kitchens
  • Shared spaces, and classrooms in schools and centres

Additional visits can be arranged as needed. What we do is aligned with public health guidance and with your own facility or outbreak plan.
