Waikanae Commercial Cleaning Services has cleaned buildings on the Kāpiti Coast since 1987. We are based at 6 Parata Street in Waikanae — not in Wellington with a Kāpiti phone number — so our teams are local, and a site visit doesn’t mean waiting for someone to drive up the coast.
What we clean on the Kāpiti Coast
We are a commercial cleaning company. Our work is offices, retail premises, medical and allied-health rooms, schools and early childhood centres, community facilities and light industrial sites — not domestic house cleaning.

Commercial cleaning is a recurring service, and most of the problems with it are logistical rather than technical. A cleaner who is late, a supervisor who can’t get to site, a job that slips when someone is away — those are the failures that end contracts.
Being based in Waikanae means our supervisors can be on a Kāpiti site the same day. It also means the people cleaning your premises generally live nearby, which does more for reliability than any amount of process.
How we quote
Every quote starts with a site visit. Floor area alone doesn’t tell us much — what matters is how the space is used, how many people are in it, what the surfaces are, and when we can get access. We walk the site, agree a scope in writing, and quote against that scope.
You will know what is included, how often each task is done, and what it costs before anything starts.
Frequently asked questions
Do you clean outside business hours?
Yes. Most commercial cleaning is done before or after your staff are on site. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 9pm, and cleaning schedules are set around when your premises are empty.
Do you clean houses?
No. We are a commercial cleaning company and work on business premises only. Exterior house washing is the one exception where we will look at residential work on the Kāpiti Coast.
Is there a minimum contract?
No. We do scheduled contracts and one-off cleans. Talk to us about what the site actually needs rather than fitting it to a package.
How long have you been operating?
Since 1987 — close to forty years cleaning buildings between Ōtaki and Wellington. The business is run by Brett Cundy and is based in Waikanae.
