Professional Cleaning Services on the Kāpiti Coast – About Waikanae Commercial Cleaning Services

About Waikanae Commercial Cleaning Services

Waikanae Commercial Cleaning Services (WCCS) is a commercial cleaning company that has been trading since 1987. We clean business premises from Ōtaki to Wellington city, on regular contracts and as one-off cleans, from our base at 6 Parata Street, Waikanae.

The name reflects where the business started, not the limit of where we work. Offices, retail stores, medical and dental practices, schools and early childhood centres across the Kāpiti Coast, Porirua, the Hutt Valley and Wellington are all part of what we clean today.

Trading since 1987

The business has been cleaning premises in this region for close to forty years. Commercial cleaning has low barriers to entry, and contracts are lost through unreliability far more often than through poor cleaning, so how long a contractor has been trading is worth checking with anyone you consider.

Today the business operates from 6 Parata Street in Waikanae and is open Monday to Friday, 7am to 9pm.

Who runs the business

The business is led by director Dishan Hettiarachchige, with Asanjala Muthumala as accounts manager. Once a contract starts, you deal with our manager directly rather than a general line.

How a contract with us works

  1. A free site assessment. Our management team visits your premises before anything is quoted.
  2. A written scope. Every quote sets out the tasks, with a frequency against each one.
  3. A fixed price. The price is fixed for the scope specified.
  4. A consistent cleaner. Most of the time, a site is allocated to the same cleaner, so the same person learns your building.
  5. Weekly inspection. A supervisor physically inspects the site every week against the written scope.
  6. Direct contact. You deal directly with our manager rather than a general line.
  7. No minimum term. Ending a contract takes one month’s notice.

Trained, insured and police-vetted

Our cleaners are fully trained, insured, uniformed and police-vetted, and the business carries $10 million of public liability cover. Before anyone works on a client site they go through contractor screening, and the work is supervised and recorded from the first clean.

Screened Before They Start

Police vetting, a health and safety induction, infection control training and site-specific training

Inspected Every Week

A supervisor physically inspects each site against the written scope

Recorded As It Happens

Site checklists, attendance records, communication logs and quality inspection reports
